2019 Council Meetings - Agendas and Minutes

Council Meetings are open to the public.

Ordinary Council Meetings are held in the Council Chamber at the Civic Centre (corner of Lyttleton and Lloyd Streets, Castlemaine) and commence at 6.30 pm.

Agendas are made available to the public by the close of business on the Thursday preceding the Meeting, online as separate pdf documents for download and as hard copies from the Civic Centre.

Minutes are available by close of business on the Friday following the Meeting.

Once Minutes are confirmed the Agendas are removed from Council's website, as the full Agenda is available in the Minutes.

- 6.00 pm, Tuesday 19 November - for the election of Mayor, Deputy Mayor , adoption of Ordinary Meeting Schedule for 2020 and Appointment of Councillors as Delegates and Representatives to Committees..
- 5.00 pm, Tuesday 21 May - to hear budget submissions as part of the Section 223 process.

Council is trialling the live stream of Council Meetings via YouTube to increase transparency and remove access to barriers to attendance at the meetings.

The recording equipment focuses on Councillors and aims to avoid filming the public gallery as much as possible. Any visitor to the public gallery should be aware their presence and voice may be recorded.
