Spray drift can be caused from activities like spray painting and chemical spraying. Whilst spraying under suitable weather conditions and utilising advances in technology can reduce the likelihood of spray drift occurring, spray drift can’t always be controlled.
If the chemicals are alleged to be affecting crops or livestock on neighbouring properties please contact the Department of Environment and Primary Industry.
If the chemicals are alleged to be affecting the health of residents on neighbouring properties, an Environmental Health Officer will investigate the matter in conjunction with Worksafe and the Environment Protection Authority.
