Events Grants Program

Mount Alexander Shire Council launched a new Events Grants program in July 2019.
This replaced the process of ad-hoc event support you may have received from Council.

The first round is NOW CLOSED.
The next round will open in February 2020.
Our Quick Response Events Grants Program is open all year to provide funding opportunities for up to $1,000 for events.
Refer to the guidelines below for further information.

Council has traditionally supported events by providing logistical support, services and fee waivers on an event-by-event basis.

The Events Grants program provides a transparent and equitable process for local groups and organisations to seek funding and in-kind support from Council.

Information sessions for this new program were held as follows:

- Castlemaine Town Hall on Friday 19 July (10am -12pm)
- Maldon Community Centre on Monday 22 July (10am - 12pm)
- Castlemaine Council Chambers Civic Centre on Monday 22 July (6pm - 8pm)

If you were unable to attend any of these sessions, contact Lucie Curry Cheenne or Natalie Parsons for information.

Refer to the following Event Grants Program Guidelines for details on how to apply and details on what can and can't be funded.
