Tenders invited - livestock and bicycles

Two unidentified ewes were impounded from Harcourt on Tuesday 4 July. Two bicycles were impounded from Barker Street, Castlemaine. If the animals and bikes are not claimed and expenses paid by Tuesday 18 July they will be sold by public tender. Tenders open on Tuesday 11 July and close at 2.00pm on Tuesday 18 July. Submit tenders in a sealed envelope marked Impounded Livestock 07/17 or Impounded Bicycles 07/17 to the Civic Centre at 27 Lyttleton Street, Castlemaine. Late tenders will not be accepted. If the sheep or bikes are claimed tenders will be destroyed after notification to tenderer. For more information phone Local Laws on 5471 1700.

Digital strategy workshop for businesses

Come along to the next small business workshop, Advanced Digital Strategies for Your Business. The workshop will be held from 5.00pm to 8.30pm on Monday 17 July at the Council Chambers in the Civic Centre, Castlemaine. Cost is $30. Help make the shire age friendly

If you are passionate about addressing issues that impact our ageing community consider registering for the new Positive Ageing Advocacy Group. The group will help to support age friendly communities and provide older community members a voice in local decisions. How to be a rockstar

Children aged three to eight years can learn how to be rockstars with comedian Tessa Waters at a 55 minute show. How to be a Rockstar will be held from 2.00pm on Thursday 13 July at the Phee Broadway Theatre, Mechanics Lane, Castlemaine. Tickets are $10. Entry is free to children aged two years and under. Purchase tickets at the door prior to the show, at the Castlemaine Visitor Information Centre in Mostyn Street, online at www.pheebroadwaytheatre.com.au or over the phone on 5471 1795.
