At Mount Alexander Shire Council we're continuing to take advice on public health matters from the state and federal health departments.

We understand many residents may continue to feel concerned and have compiled a list of trusted resources to help you stay up-to-date with COVID-19 developments.

Information and advice

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is the lead agency responsible for responding to COVID-19 in Victoria.

The best place for up-to-date information and guidance about the outbreak of COVID-19 is If you suspect you have coronavirus or need advice call the dedicated Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398. It operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

If you have serious symptoms, such as difficulty breathing, call 000 and ask for an ambulance.
