Seniors Festival 2017

Seniors can look forward to a fantastic range of activities and fun in October as part of the Victorian Seniors Festival.

The festival is a great way to get active, try something new and meet new friends.

Fans of The Beatles will love this year’s free community concert. Come on a magical mystery tour with Rubber Soul at 2.00pm on Wednesday 11 October. Rubber Soul (pictured above) promises a faithful re-creation of the Beatles sound and Sgt Pepper’s costumes!

Other festival highlights include the Newstead Old Time Dance, lunch and movie in Metcalfe, seniors cricket match and much more.

Thank you to Castlemaine Community House, the passionate Working Committee and all local interest groups, organisations and volunteers who make the festival such a success.

Pick up your festival guide from community hubs from mid-September or visit Castlemaine Community House website for all the latest activities and events.

Keep up-to-date with what's on around the shire.
