Learn how to make the most of TripAdvisor

Learn how your business can benefit from TripAdvisor, the world's largest travel website, at two upcoming workshops.

Tuesday 27 June 2017

Did you know that in December 2016, the Bendigo area was the country’s most searched regional area by Australians?

With so many people using the internet to help determine holiday destinations, dining options and so much more, now is the time for tourism organisations and businesses to understand how to make the most out of TripAdvisor – the world’s largest travel site.

TripAdvisor has 500 million reviews and opinions covering 7 million accommodation options, restaurants and attractions.

Tanager Tourism Marketing is working with Mount Alexander Shire Council to present two sessions on TripAdvisor for regional tourism operators.

Session one:

What: Trip Advisor from the Ground Up
When: 4.30pm – 5.30pm on Thursday 6 July
Where: Ray Bradfield Room, Castlemaine

An introduction session on making a confident start with TripAdvisor – how it works, how to set-up an account and how successful it is.

Session two:

What: Get more from TripAdvisor
When: 6.00pm – 7.00pm, Thursday 6 July
Where: Ray Bradfield Rooms, Castlemaine

In this intermediate session learn TripAdvisor best practise by looking at bookings, review responses and how to use TripAdvisor more effectively.

The cost of each session is $25 per person, or $40 for both sessions.

Mount Alexander Shire tourism marketing partners and Maldon Inc. members can receive a 50 percent discount when registering for both sessions or a $10 discount if registering for one session.

Register your attendance by contacting Claire Baker, Tourism Marketing Officer, on c.baker@mountalexander.vic.gov.au or 5471 1727 by Friday 30 June.
