Come along and support talent young musicians at the Battle of the Band on Friday 4 August.

Thursday 20 July 2017

Talented musicians aged between 12 and 25 years will take to the stage in August as part of the FReeZA Push Start Battle of the Bands and everyone is invited to come along.

Run by Mount Alexander Shire Council’s youth FReeZA Committee - Eight Metre Speaker, the popular event provides young people with the chance to compete in the regional finals and win great prizes such as money for new instruments, equipment or rehearsal space.

Battle of the Bands is a fun night out and a fantastic opportunity for young artists to get their music out into the world and perform in front of a supportive audience.

“Battle of the Bands inspired me to be a more confident musician,” said Ada Levis, participant in the 2016 competition.

“I’m really excited to play again at this year’s event,” said Ms Levis.

Battle of the Bands is an alcohol, drug and smoke free event, with no pass outs. The event is fully supervised and accessible.
