Councillor and community forum

Everyone is invited to a one-hour community forum at Harcourt. This is your opportunity to raise questions and provide feedback on Council’s activities. The forum will be held from 5.00pm to 6.00pm on Tuesday 8 August at the ANA Hall, High St, Harcourt. Please RSVP to Shannon on 5471 1705 or s.mcmillan@mountalexander.vic.gov.au.

The Other Renewables Forum

Come along to a renewable energy forum and hear from local and national speakers on energy sources such as bioenergy, soil carbon and hydro energy. The Other Renewables Forum will be held at 1.30pm to 5.30pm on Saturday 12 August at Castlemaine Town Hall. Book tickets or learn more at www.otherrenewablesforum.eventbrite.com.au. The forum is presented by Mount Alexander Sustainability Group.

Book tickets for business awards

Tickets are on sale for the Mount Alexander Business Awards gala event. The event will kick off with drinks at 5.30pm on Wednesday 16 August at Castlemaine Town Hall (note venue change). Information session for artists

Local artists and creatives are invited to attend an information session on how they can benefit from Council’s participation in the Regional Centre for Culture (RCC) in 2018. Come along and hear from producers, find out about funding opportunities and share ideas. An information and discussion session will be held from 10.30am to 12.00noon on Tuesday 8 August at the Maldon Community Centre, 6 Francis Street.
