December storm clean up

Council has extended the free disposal period for storm debris at Castlemaine and Maldon Waste Facilities until the end of January. During this time residents can drop off storm-related green waste and debris such as twigs, leaves, branches and logs.

The free disposal period does not apply to normal garden waste, grass clippings or commercial waste.
Council will provide a central disposal point for green and woody debris in the Taradale area in February. Further details will be available soon.
