Small business workshops

Tuesday 20 February 2018

Could your business benefit from better systems and processes?

Consistency keeps customers coming back so it’s important you’ve got the right systems and practices to help deliver consistent products and services first time, every time.

If you’re interested in learning simple ways to streamline your business, improve customer service, staff engagement and productivity, sign up now for Mount Alexander Shire Council’s next small business workshop.

The 3.5 hour workshop will give your business the best chance to shine.

“This session is ideal for existing business owners or those who are about to take the plunge,” said Eva Parkin, Economic Development Officer, Mount Alexander Shire Council.

“We’ve carefully selected this workshop to help you get advice on how run your business day to day, but also ensure you’re ready to ramp up for tomorrow’s success,” said Ms Parkin.

“You’ll learn how to stress test your current processes and systems, simplify financial management and record keeping, understand and plan for risk mitigation and improve your customer experience,” she said.

In response to feedback from the business community, the workshop will be held as a morning session. The workshop is presented by Bill Winter who has worked as a CEO, advisory board member, facilitator and business mentor.

“Bill brings many skills and expertise in small businesses – it will be a great workshop and we encourage everyone to come along,” said Ms Parkin.
