Seeking Maldon design advisers

Council is updating the Maldon Design Guidelines and is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from community and skill based representatives to join a project advisory group for a one year term. The guidelines aim to provide detailed design criteria for development to complement and protect the heritage significance of Maldon. We are looking for four members with a demonstrated knowledge of Maldon’s heritage, landscape or built environment and an understanding of the role of local government in heritage matters. To access the terms of reference and application form visit www.mountalexander.vic.gov.au/HaveYourSay. Applications close on Friday 21 September. For more information contact Lisa Merkesteyn, Heritage and Urban Design Officer, on 5471 1852 or l.merkesteyn@mountalexander.vic.gov.au.

Changes to Maldon standpipe

The standpipe at Maldon is being upgraded to an Avdata electronic key system this week. The system allows accurate tracking of water purchases and reduces water wastage.
