Festive bin collection changes

If your rubbish and recycling is usually collected on a Tuesday you’ll need to put your bins out a couple of days early as
Christmas and New Years’ Day fall on a Tuesday. Bins usually collected on a Tuesday will be collected on Sunday 23 and Sunday 30 December instead. Areas affected include Barkers Creek, central Castlemaine and north of Walker Street, Chewton, Elphinstone, Faraday, Golden Point, Harcourt, Harcourt North, Metcalfe and Taradale. A letter will be delivered to affected households advising of the temporary change. We apologise for the inconvenience. Collection will return to normal from Tuesday 8 January.
