Join an upcoming forum to discuss aged care services in Mount Alexander Shire.

Friday 6 March 2020

Mount Alexander Shire Council is holding two community forums to hear about and discuss issues related to the provision of aged care services in the shire.

The sessions will include information about the Commonwealth aged care reforms, and will provide clients, carers and community members with the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience with aged care services in the shire.

“These forums are an opportunity to come together and ask questions, provide feedback and share ideas about aged care in our shire,” said Lisa Knight, Director Corporate and Community Services.

“These services are for some of our most vulnerable community members and it’s important that we get it right,” said Ms Knight.
“We want to hear the views of our community, and gain a greater understanding of the positive outcomes and challenges associated with aged care services in the shire.”

“I encourage everyone who wants to learn more or to provide feedback come along,” said Ms Knight.
