Australia Day is not just a public holiday. Each year Council hosts a family event for the community to get together to recognise our Australia Day Award winners, welcome our new citizens, acknowledge our history and celebrate what it means to be Australian.

Australia Day – Survival Day

Everyone is invited to join a free community event in Victory Park and a virtual dawn smoking ceremony
to acknowledge Australia Day - Survival Day in Mount Alexander Shire on Tuesday 26 January.
