Emergency planning for older residents and people with disability

Emergency Planning Advice Service (EPAS)

CFA, SES and Red Cross are delivering a free household service in the Mount Alexander Shire Council area. The service is is designed to support people who live with a disability, are older, or have a chronic or acute medical condition to create a fire plan.

Our facilitators can give you basic fire safety advice, answer your questions, and offer suggestions to help with your plan.

What is the service?

The Emergency Planning Advice Service (EPAS) is:

  • designed to support people who live with a disability, are older, or have a chronic or acute medical condition to create a fire plan
  • conversation-based
  • an in-home based service where we visit you at your home.

Who is it for?

EPAS is designed for people who need everyday support to remain in their homes. This includes people who are older, and/or people who have a disability or chronic medical condition.
