Phee Broadway Theatre Foyer

Exhibition Program 2022

The Phee Broadway Theatre’s Foyer Exhibition Program will kick off in April with a selection of local artists taking over the space.

The theatre, which is located at Mechanics Lane, Castlemaine, is a community gathering place, where creativity is fostered, people connect, and shared narratives are explored.

Upcoming artists exhibiting as part of the 2022 program include:

Nadyne de Vel -  11 April to 20 May 2022

A Castlemaine local who creates beautiful, dark and allusive drawings.

Helen Seligman – 24 September to 4 November  

A printmaker whose work explores environmental themes.

Jennifer Sharpe – 30 May to 8 July 

A woven tapestry artist whose work is inspired by life experiences, and Australian flora and fauna.

Martin John Lee – 8 August to 16 September 

A videographer who uses text-based animation to celebrate LGBTQIA+ dignity, equality and visibility.

Paul Allen – 14 November to 23 December

A gouache and acrylic artist whose exhibition, Gentle Conundrums and the Snare of Contemplation, focuses on mandalas.
