Animal Registration

All dogs and cats must be registered by the age of 3 months, and all registrations must be renewed by 10 April each year. A renewal form is mailed out annually prior to the deadline.

As well as identification of your pet being a legal requirement, the tag provided with registration will assist the return of your pet in the event that it becomes lost. Officers can check the number on the tag of a stray animal, and notify the owner that it has been found.

The Animal Registration Application is available to download via the link at the bottom of the page. The fees are listed on the back of the form.

If you wish to lodge the application form by email, please do not complete the credit card details on the form, as the email will be blocked. Please call us on 5471 1700 to arrange payment via credit card.

Failure to declare the breed of your dog if it is a restricted breed may result in a fine of up to $500.00 or prosecution in the Magistrates Court.
