Council has developed a range of strategies that influence planning and the works undertaken on recreation facilities and reserves across Mount Alexander Shire. These include:

• 2021 Autumn recreation reserve playing surface upgrades
• Camp Reserve masterplan review
• Design of female friendly/gender neutral change facilities at the Harcourt Recreation Reserve
• Harcourt Stanley Park North play space
• Drinking fountain installation at various locations
• Bike repair station installation at Western Reserve and Harcourt
• Public seating along our trail network
• Bill Woodfull oval fence replacement
• Cricket wicket cover replacements - Harcourt Recreation Reserve, Newstead Recreation Reserve, Campbells Creek Recreation Reserve, Taradale Recreation Reserve
