Visitors to Mount Alexander Regional Park are advised tree removal works along Joseph Young Drive in Harcourt are underway to improve public safety and emergency vehicle access.
The works by Forest Fire Management Victoria and Council started on Monday 15 July, and are expected to take two weeks with works occurring during the weekend.
The north end of Joseph Young Drive will be closed to through traffic for the first few days. Access to nearby campgrounds and the communications tower will remain open via the Faraday-Sutton Grange Road end.
As works progress, Joseph Young Drive will be closed at the south end with alternate access via Harcourt-Sutton Grange Road.
