Seeking creative young stallholders

Stall with brightly coloured clothes for sale.

Creative young people are invited to hold a stall at our next Young Makers Market.

Tuesday 6 August 2019

If you are a creative young person and want to sell your products, make sure you sign up as a stallholder at the next Young Makers Market.

The market offers people aged 12 to 25 years the chance to get their creations out there and hopefully even make a bit of money.

“We know that we have some amazing talent in our community and we’re very excited to give our young people a platform to display and sell their works,” said Jodie Hearn, Youth Activities Officer, Mount Alexander Shire Council.

“Previous markets have showcased a broad range of products that have been snapped up by satisfied customers. The quality and creativity has been really impressive,” said Jodie.

“We’ve had homemade crafts, horticulture, cosmetics, art and more.

“If you’ve been considering hosting a stall we’d love you to get involved.”

Registering a stall is free. For $5 per stall you can hire a marquee, power, tables and chairs.

The Young Makers Market will be held from 9.00am to 1.00pm on Sunday 1 September at the Theatre Royal Brickyard, 30 Hargraves Street, Castlemaine.

The market is coordinated by the Young Makers Market Committee, which is made up of young volunteers and Council staff.

A stallholder application form is available at www.mountalexandershireyouth.com.au. If you would like to know more, please contact the committee at youngmakersmarket@outlook.com or call Jodie Hearn, Youth Activities Officer, on 5471 1700.
