All of our projects are approved through Council’s budget process.
With our limited resources, we balance an extensive schedule within a small team. We may therefore progress design for some projects without community consultation.
There will, however, be many situations where we will seek to consult with Councillors, and/or immediately affected residents, businesses, schools or even the community as a whole when feedback or input is required. This will include situations which have multiple options that meet our design criteria and when we are unsure what the best option is.
We continue to work on how to improve this website to give you visibility of the work we are doing. We will also continue to ensure that you are advised prior to construction commencing on any given project.
