Come along to our early years forum and help guide our plan for children aged 0 to 8 years and their families.

Tuesday 20 March 2018

Local community members, organisations and early years service providers in Mount Alexander Shire are invited to attend a forum to provide input into Council’s draft Early Years Plan.

The Early Years Forum will focus on the outcomes of the first forum and a survey held last year. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute and develop the key actions of the draft plan that aims to provide a future vision and strategic direction on how to best develop and coordinate services, programs and partnership activities for children 0-8 years and their families in the shire.

“Community members and local service providers in the health, education and childcare sectors can make a considerable difference in the lives of children and their families. We would love to have people come along to the forum and take part in this important event,” said Lisa Knight, Director Corporate and Community Services, Mount Alexander Shire Council.

“The forum is a great opportunity to develop realistic and achievable actions that we can all do together to better support young children and their families in the shire,” said Ms Knight.
