Upgrade works are underway on the pedestrian crossings and adjacent footpaths at the Barker and Forest streets intersection in Castlemaine. Pedestrians are asked to follow the alternative routes. Works are expected to be completed by late May. The project is jointly funded by Council and VicRoads.

The Goldfields Library Corporation now offers home library services to people who are unable to visit the library. Volunteers select and deliver books, DVDs and magazines to the borrower’s home each month. To register or find out if you are eligible contact the service on 5449 2790 or homelibraryservice@ncgrl.vic.gov.au.

The LGBTIQ community are invited to come along to a forum to learn about the progress made to date on the LGBTIQ roundtable. The community forum will explain the Expressions of Interest (EoI) process to nominate for a place on the roundtable. The forum will be held from 5.30pm to 6.30pm on Wednesday 11 April at the Ray Bradfield Room near Victory Park, Castlemaine. EoI forms are available on the Castlemaine Community House website at www.cch.org.au.
