Have a say on town streetscapes

Council is developing streetscape designs for local towns based on priorities identified in community plans. The designs include things like tree plantings, traffic management, pedestrian safety and social spaces. A streetscape workshop will be held in Newstead from 5.30pm on Wednesday 13 June at the Mechanics Hall, Newstead Community Centre. Workshops were held at Chewton, Campbells Creek, Guildford and Taradale last week. If you missed the workshops take a look at the designs online at www.mountalexander.vic.gov.au/HaveYourSay. Send your feedback to Council by 5.00pm on Friday 22 June.

Council is looking for young people aged between 12 and 25 years to join the Youth Advisory Group (YAG) and represent young people in our shire.
