Bridges design - Engineering design services 2018/2019, contract M1390-2018

Muckleford Walmer Road reconstruction, contract M1407-2018

Tenders must be received by 2.00pm on Friday 28 September.

Tender – Impounded livestock

Council officers impounded one unidentified tri coloured female Angora goat from Fryerstown on Monday 20 August. If the goat is not claimed and expenses paid by Tuesday 11 September it will be sold by public tender or rehomed. Tenders are now open and will close at 2.00pm on Wednesday 12 September. Submit tenders in a sealed envelope marked ‘Impounded Livestock 08/18' to the Civic Centre, 27 Lyttleton Street, Castlemaine. No late tenders will be accepted. Tenderers will be notified and tenders destroyed if the goat is claimed. For more information call the Local Laws team on 5471 1700.

Big Battle of the Bands

Congratulations to Stop that Mammoth, winner of the local heat of Battle of the Bands. The band won a cash prize of $500 and entry into the regional finals. Chance and the Missed Kiss took out second place and The Wilsons came third. Event organisers Eight Metre Speaker thank event sponsors Theatre Royal, along with FReeZa Push Start, Council’s Youth Development Team, Daniel Rogers, Mark Woods and judges Claire Barker, Kate McDonald and Justin Marshall. FReeZA is a Victorian Government funded program that supports events for young people.

Access and inclusion survey

This is your last chance to share your views on access and inclusion around the shire. Complete an online survey at www.mountalexander.vic.gov.au/HaveYourSay or find a printed copy at the Civic Centre, Castlemaine Library and key locations across the shire. To request a copy phone the Community Wellbeing Team on 5471 1700. The survey closes at 5.00pm on Friday 31 August.

Meetings are held at the Civic Centre. Everyone is welcome to attend.
