Council has reissued rate notices due to a scanning error which prevents payments to be made at Australia Post. In the meantime, you can still pay through BPAY and BPAY View, in person at the Civic Centre, by calling 1300 486 757, visiting our website or via Centrepay (if eligible). We apologise for the inconvenience and are pursuing the matter with our supplier to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Please contact us on 5471 1700 or visit our website for any rate queries.

Our next Small Business Workshop
will help operators ensure their online communication is hitting the mark. Find out how to write for your website, blog or social media at the Creating Effective Digital Content workshop. The workshop will be held from 6.00pm to 8.00pm

The Victory Park public toilets are temporarily closed until Friday 14 September while the floor is upgraded. Nearby toilets are located at the supermarket complex. We apologise for any inconvenience.

If you are confused about what goes in which bin or want to learn more about what can and can’t be recycled come along to our next Sustainable Living Workshop. The Recycling Right workshop will debunk some of the common myths about recycling and help you to become a recycling expert. The free session will be held from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday 22 September at the Senior Citizens Hall, Mechanics Lane, Castlemaine.
