Mondo Lounge holiday program

Council’s youth program Mondo Lounge is holding activities over the school holidays for people aged 12 to 25 years. Make friends and have fun at these free sessions:

• Baking workshop: 12.00pm to 3.30pm, Friday 11 January.
• T-shirt printing workshop: 12.00pm to 3.00pm, Wednesday 16 January.
• Beginner skateboarding workshop: 11.00am to 2.00pm, Friday 18 January.
• Pool party at Castlemaine Pool: 12.00pm to 3.00pm, Saturday 19 January (use code word Mondo for free entry).
• Skatepark excursion: 10.30am to 3.30pm, Tuesday 22 January (bookings essential).
• Movie screening: 12.00pm to 3.00pm, Friday 25 January.

Free entry at Buda for locals

Help showcase one of Mount Alexander Shire’s most popular tourist attractions to your out-of-town visitors. Buda Historic Home and Garden is offering free entry to local residents who visit with a paying guest. Simply bring along your identification or a bill showing your current address as proof of residency in the shire. Take advantage of the local deal as often as you like.
