Wellbeing census coming soon

Everyone is encouraged to take part in the Healthy Heart of Victoria 2019 Active Living Census. The survey will be sent to all households later this month. The results will help us to better understand what our community needs to be active, healthy and happy. The census will be completed by households in six local council areas within the Loddon Campaspe region. The information will help to ensure that facilities, policies, programs and services are what you need and where you need them. Complete the census online at www.srcentre.com.au/ALC from Monday 20 May or fill in a paper copy delivered by early June. Complete the census before Thursday 16 June to be in the running for a chance to win bikes, food and shopping vouchers from a prize pool valued at $12,000. Thank you in advance for completing the survey.

National Reconciliation Week

Council invites the community to a public event to recognise National Sorry Day. The event will be held at 10.30am on Sunday 26 May at Stanley Park, Harcourt. Sorry Day marks the beginning of National Reconciliation Week, which runs until Sunday 2 June. Pop into the Market Building throughout the week and see information on Indigenous culture, bush tucker, a history display and more. The week-long program has been developed by the Nalderun Upper Loddon Group, with many activities on offer. See events on flyers at community hubs or follow Nalderun’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/Nalderun.
