Have your say on botanical gardens plan

We are inviting the community to have a say on a draft conservation management plan for the much loved Castlemaine Botanical Gardens. The plan includes an assessment of the significant features of the heritage-listed gardens as a living landscape, with policies and actions to renew and protect them for decades to come.

View the draft at www.mountalexander.vic.gov.au/HaveYourSay, the Civic Centre, Castlemaine Library and local Visitor Information Centres.

To find out more information head to a drop-in session at the Botanical Gardens Tea Rooms from 12.30pm to 1.30pm on Wednesday 29 May, or from 10.00am to 11.00am on Saturday 1 June. Send your feedback titled Draft Botanic Gardens CMP to info@mountalexander.vic.gov.au or Mount Alexander Shire Council, PO Box 185, Castlemaine VIC 3450, by Friday 21 June.
