Free school holiday leadership workshop

Young people doing a creative training exercise

Wednesday 12 June 2019

If you’re a young person aged 12 to 25 and keen to develop your leadership skills, sign up now to Mount Alexander Shire Council’s Mondo Lounge school holiday leadership program.

The full-day workshop will help you to build expertise and confidence to create a positive change in your community. It will cover communication, decision making, campaign delivery, public speaking and more.

Alina Graeve is a member of Council’s Youth Advisory Group who attended the leadership training last year.

“The training is fun, you meet new people and it looks good on your CV. Plus there’s free food!” said Alina.

The leadership training will be held from 10.00am to 3.30pm on Wednesday 10 July at Mondo Lounge, 30 Templeton Street, Castlemaine. Lunch is provided.

Workshop places are limited so act quickly and secure your place. Bookings are essential.

Book your place at www.mountalexandershireyouth.com.au/Training or contact our Youth Development Team on youth@mountalexander.vic.gov.au or 5471 1700.

Council is also taking names for the next round of Barista Training during the summer holidays. To register your interest visit the youth website or contact the youth team.

The Mondo Lounge program is coordinated by Mount Alexander Shire Council and supported by the Victorian Government Engage! Program 2018-2020.
