Nominate your favourite business in the Mount Alexander Business Awards. Tell us who they are and why at www.mountalexanderbusinessawards.com.au or complete a nomination form at Maldon Newsagency, Castlemaine Visitor Information Centre or Civic Centre by Monday 9 September. The awards are proudly run by Council in partnership with the Midland Express / Castlemaine Mail.

Once your business is nominated for the business awards you need to complete an entry form. Council is holding two workshops to help you complete your entry. The workshops will be held from 5.45pm to 8.15pm on Monday 16 September and 9.15am to 11.45am on Tuesday 17 September at the Civic Centre. Book via www. mountalexander.vic.gov.au/BusinessResources.

The National Disability Insurance Agency Intereach will hold an information workshop for people with disability, families and carers to find out about the service, NDIS plans and more. The session will include a presentation and opportunity to ask questions. It will be held from 11.00am to 2.00pm on Wednesday 11 September at Quest Schaller Hotel, 60 Lucan Street, Bendigo. Places are limited. Book via www.eventbrite.com by searching ‘Your NDIS journey’.
