Find out how to launch your business online at Mount Alexander Shire Council’s next small business workshop.

The two-hour session will cover the technology you need, how to make the most of social media, how to manage risk, along with tools and templates for success.

“There are many benefits of taking your business online but it can be overwhelming if you’re new to this technology,” said Eva Parkin, Economic Development Officer, Mount Alexander Shire Council.

“This workshop will help you navigate the early steps and guide you through the process of moving your business online,” said Ms Parkin.

“You’ll be able to size up the options and understand which tools are right for you.

“Our workshops often sell out so be quick and book now!” she said.

New owner of Castlemaine Floristry Lynne Jolly said the low-cost workshops have helped her to gain valuable skills and expertise.

“I attended several small business workshops facilitated by Council in the lead up to purchasing Castlemaine Floristry,” said Ms Jolly.

“They have all been useful food for thought. The recent workshop on marketing gave me a lot to think about and it was good to hear the experiences and ideas of other participants.”

Council coordinates the low-cost workshops in partnerships with Small Business Victoria.
