The Mondo Lounge Youth Space is set to kick off Friday 31 January for another year of fun activities.

Mount Alexander Shire Council’s Mondo Lounge is a weekly youth space that offers free activities, workshops and training opportunities for young people aged 12–25 years in a safe and supportive environment.

“Term one will be packed full of fun activities and workshops including baking, sushi making, a Mario Kart tournament, a trivia night and a succulent potting workshop,” said Jodie Hearn, Council’s Youth Activities Officer.

“Drop in to say hi, get involved in the weekly activity or just catch up with mates,” said Jodie.

Mondo Lounge is open from 3.30pm to 6.00pm every Friday afternoon during the school term. It is held at Castlemaine Community House at 30 Templeton Street in Castlemaine.
