Thursday 7 May 2020

Works will begin mid-May to upgrade a 100 metre section of footpath along Lyttleton Street in Castlemaine.

The asphalt footpath will extend along the northern side of Lyttleton Street between Barker Street and the Presbyterian Church.

The works are scheduled to take three weeks, weather permitting.

Minor traffic delays or temporary detours may be in place during the project. Please follow signs and directions at all times.

Public access will be maintained to properties throughout the project.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused while we complete these upgrade works.

The project is part of Mount Alexander Shire Council’s annual footpath network upgrade to improve pedestrian connectivity around the shire.
