Mount Alexander Shire Council has partnered with the State Government – Small Business Victoria to deliver the workshops, which are designed to help local small businesses succeed.

“It’s a small community of business owners here in the shire, and we want to make sure they get all the help they need not only to survive, but to thrive during this challenging time,” said Eva Parkin, Economic Development Officer, Mount Alexander Shire Council.

“The first workshop for the month will unpack the process of creating a business plan - which is a fundamental roadmap for any business,” said Ms Parkin.

“We’re also offering a workshop designed specifically to provide COVID-19 support for local small businesses throughout the pandemic.”

“Topics will include financial hardship, managing business loans and tenancy arrangements, and how to apply for available support,” said Ms Parkin.
