Council meetings will reopen to the public at the upcoming meeting in March.

Mount Alexander Shire Council will once again welcome the community back to its monthly Council meetings from March, pending any further changes to COVID-19 restrictions.

The March meeting will be held in the Town Hall in Castlemaine and will meet COVIDSafe requirements.

Members of the public are invited along to join the gallery, participate in question time, or provide feedback to Council.

The meeting will be held at 6.30pm on Tuesday 16 March at the Town Hall in Lyttleton Street in Castlemaine. Enter via Frederick Street. RSVP is not required but attendees will need to register at the meeting.

If you can’t make it along, you can still get involved in question time. Send through your question to Council’s Governance Team, Mount Alexander Shire Council, PO Box 185, Castlemaine 3450 VIC, or email governance@mountalexander.vic.gov.au by 12noon on the day of the meeting.

Items on the March Council Meeting agenda include the noting of the quarterly finance and annual plan progress report, and the appointment of members to Council’s Community Assets Committees. The agenda will be available on Friday 12 March on Council’s website.
