Mount Alexander Shire Council is offering a range of workshops for the local business community aimed at helping people develop practical tools for managing their mental health.

The program is called Mindfit at Work, and comprises of seven sessions held monthly from May to November that each explore a different aspect of mental health and wellbeing.

“It’s been a challenging twelve months for many people, and now more than ever, we need to find the time to stop, take a breath, and re-set,” said Eva Parkin, Economic Development Officer, Mount Alexander Shire Council.

“Our business community have found unique ways to adapt during the last year, and it’s been remarkable to see. However, the pandemic has put extra pressure on people, and we want to help people prevent burn-out before it happens,” said Ms Parkin.
