Young people aged 12-25 years are invited to celebrate the return of youth live music at Shakin’ the Shed- Live @ the Goods Shed hosted by Mount Alexander Shire Council’s FReeZA committee.

The local FReeZA Committee, Eight Metre Speaker, will host a welcome back music celebration at the Goods Shed in Castlemaine from 7.00pm to 10.00pm on Friday 7 May with a range of local and Melbourne based bands on display.

“With all of our FReeZa events being held online last year, the committee are super keen to get back to live music events” said Council’s Youth Activities Officer Jodie Hearn.

The event will feature local band Inland Surfers, runner up in the 2019 Battle of the Bands, Terra Rouge, a Melbourne based band in all their electronic Indi-pop glory and headliners The Other Lovers, who performed as a part of Iso-Bop, a FReeZa live stream event in 2020.

“We’re all so excited to be hosting live music again,” said Ms Hearn.

“All the featured bands have a huge energy that gets people moving. What better way to launch FreeZa in to 2021,” she said.
