Thank you to our valued volunteers

During National Volunteer Week (17–23 May) we say thank you to our wonderful volunteers who support our community in so many ways.

They help plan and coordinate events for young people, are friends and companions to some of our most vulnerable community members, and they help us manage sports and recreation reserves, improve our environment and welcome visitors to our shire with a smile.

Come along to kindergarten open day

Find out what kindergarten’s all about by attending one of our local sessional kindergartens open days, held between 24–26 May.
For details visit ymca.org.au and search Open Days.

Parents and carers are reminded that first round enrolments for three and four year old kindergarten close Tuesday 1 June. Call (03) 4111 1500 or visit earlyyears.ymca.org.au and search Enrolments.

Share your feedback on outdoor spaces

Have you noticed public outdoor spaces popping up around the shire?

Council has provided temporary spaces to support outdoor dining and entertainment at locations throughout our region, supported by the Victorian Government’s Outdoor Eating and Entertainment Program.
