Footpath trading

Footpath trading refers to using the footpath in front of your business for activities such as:

  • Outdoor dining
  • Selling products
  • Displaying signage

You will need a footpath trading permit to place items on the footpath outside your business. Examples of the items allowed are:

  • Tables, chairs, bench seats and umbrellas
  • Advertising signs
  • Display of goods
  • Planter boxes, screens/barriers or promotional

When we have received your application, we will contact you to advise how to pay.
