Social support volunteers
If you enjoy spending time with older adults and people with disabilities you might like to join our fantastic team of Social Support Volunteers.
They provide support and companionship for isolated older people living in the community in a wide range of individual and group social programs and activities.
Good communication skills and a sense of humour are a must! If you have one hour or more per week free and would like to get involved, please contact us. Training is provided.

Visitor Information Centre volunteers
Are you a bit of a 'shire nerd'? Do you know all the good places to go and things to see and do?
One great way to keep involved in the community and help our beautiful towns' visitors is to volunteer at our Visitor Information Centres in Castlemaine and Maldon.
You'll answer questions from visitors, point them to the best attractions, places to stay and eat and make great connections along the way.
