Free mulch is available at the Castlemaine Transfer Station.
Important information
- Mulch is subject to availability. Please phone 03 5471 1700 to check current availability.
- The quality of mulch cannot be guaranteed (and cannot be returned). The mulch is the product of shredded green waste brought onto the site from customers. The mulch could contain weed seeds
- Residents arriving to collect mulch will be asked to sign a declaration form
- Residents are responsible for loading the mulch themselves
- Transfer station staff reserve the right to reject or defer requests for free mulch due to site conditions, and request that customers return at another time
