Lake Joanna

Lake Joanna, named to commemorate the wife of Mayor William Adams, was created by aligning of Barkers Creek which once extended to Downes Road, straightening it to improve flow.

Fast growing Weeping Willows, Poplars and Monterey Pines were planted, giving Lake Joanna a mature presentation after about only 30 after its creation.
