Mount Alexander Shire Youth Plan 2025 - 2029
The Mount Alexander Shire Youth Plan is a Council initiated plan, developed in partnership with the local community and youth service providers including Bulortj Children and Youth network.
The aim of the plan is to provide a future vision and strategic direction for how to best develop, coordinate and deliver services, programs and partnership activities in the shire for young people aged 12-25 years.
It reflects the feedback received from young people aged 12-25 years, their families and local service providers through conversations, surveys and forums from May 2024 to February 2025. A steering group, comprising local community members, service providers, community organisations and government representatives, meets regularly to oversee the delivery of the plan and ensure its ongoing relevance.
