Your rates at work
Council collects rates from property owners in the municipality to help fund local services like maternal and child health, aged care, waste collection, library services, recreation and leisure facilities, plus the maintenance of local roads, bridges, footpaths, drains, parks, playgrounds and much more.
Read our rates and valuations page to see how rates are calculated.
