Social connection and activities

We offer eligible clients a diverse and enjoyable social support program, helping you to maintain or develop social networks.

Our social support program

People who need help getting out, socialising and learning new skills may enjoy our social support groups.

We provide a range of fun and friendly programs catering to varied interests, including:

  • water exercises
  • lunches
  • bus outings
  • singing
  • cards and board games
  • computer group
Most programs are low cost, and can include transport if required.

Volunteer to help your community

If you enjoy spending time with older adults and people with disabilities you might like to join our fantastic team of Social Support Volunteers.

They provide support and companionship for isolated older people living in the community in a wide range of individual and group social programs and activities.

Good communication skills and a sense of humour are a must! If you have one hour or more per week free and would like to get involved, please contact us. Training is provided.
