Playgroups are a fun place for children aged 0-5 years and their families to come together to learn and develop through play based learning and socialising.
Playgroups aim to be friendly and welcoming, and are a great place for families to build social and support networks.
There are two kinds of playgroups in the shire:
  • Community Playgroups - these are organised and managed by the families who attend them.
  • Supported Playgroups - offer families the added support of a facilitator and the option of one-on-one visits with personalised help, linking to local community groups and services where necessary.

For information about the shire's Supported Playgroups, contact Libby Page, Council's Supported Playgroup Facilitator on 0436 804 583.
