At the Ordinary Meeting of Council 18 February 2025, Council adopted the Privacy and Data Protection Policy. The Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic) replaced the Information Privacy Act 2000 (Vic) and this policy reflects the change to a single privacy and data protection framework.
Council considers that the responsible handling of personal information is a key aspect of good corporate governance and is strongly committed to protecting an individual’s right to privacy.
