Business Awards 2025

Held every two years, the Mount Alexander Business Awards celebrate local businesses that support their staff, care for the environment, create opportunities for young people, champion local food, improve access for everyone, make a difference in the community, or use smart ideas to solve problems. They reflect Mount Alexander Shire Council’s commitment to building a fair, caring and sustainable local economy.

This year we again championed the businesses and organisations in the shire that have demonstrated outstanding attributes. These businesses are the backbone of our community, contributing to the shire’s vibrancy that we all enjoy.

Awards night was on Wednesday 19 November at Boomtown Winery & Bistro. It was a wonderful evening of food, drinks, music and celebration.

Congratulations to all finalists and category winners. And to our Business of the Year - Like Butter. 

The Business of the Year received $3,000, while all other category winners received $500.
